six years ago I took my bike in Toledo (Spain) and went to Rome for the route of the Imperial emissaries, carrying some letters to Pope John Paul II, who received me in audience, and each year I have been joined by more people to enjoy the pleasure of going around the world by bike for solidarity, a part of our vacation.

solidarity bikes have already gone EUROPE, MIDDLE EAST, AND ASIA, have built a center for orphaned children in Nepal, 33 wells in Cambodia which are drinking more than 5,000 people have donated over 600 bicycles to children who are miles from their schools to have a future, a women's hospital stay burned in India, and four centers for children rescued from child prostitution in Asia.

Every year travel 2500kms. in 20 days, pedaling from dawn until dusk falls, provided by routes away from the conventional circuits, share their experiences with the people in small towns through which they pass, and every night is a party in the village where he finished stage.

pilgrim traveling by plane, eating the same as the local people and are staying in small huts and even nights in the open, the motive of the project life is traveling, adventure and sport, always under the umbrella of solidarity and respect for the environment. Values \u200b\u200bmove their businesses to their daily lives, OPENING, humanism, and CLOSE ... above all enthusiasm.

Despite difficult times now, companies have sought to collaborate each year to continue supporting this charity project on two wheels. Enterprises and Institutions as ADECCO MEDICAL & SCIENCE, CAJA MADRID, J. GARCIA CARRION, DANONE, JUNTA DE CASTILLA-LA MANCHA DON SIMON COLONEL Tapiocca or are involved in helping the needy.

This year will leave the source of the Nile in Uganda and will visit Rwanda, the Congo, Burundi, Tanzania, to reach the Masai Mara in Kenya. In Burundi and are building a multi-purpose building, which will be home school for orphans of tribal wars between Hutus and Tutsis, hospital for 15,000 people in the area, and agricultural training school for women, will be a difficult journey, a journey with great risks to go through war zones, but these riders solidarity, which are the Quixote CENTURY all worth it because you get the smile of a child.

only remains to comment that the people who have undertaken this challenge we understand that we must convey to young people, who devote part of their time to the world of solidarity and thus understand they may have a happier life with fewer needs.
